Back to School and New Adventures

School has started! New adventures have begun! Third grade is going to be so much fun this year! I am so excited to be sharing this adventure with Mrs. Solis as well as with the students in our class. We are going to be an awesome bunch and this is going to be an amazing year!

As the year has begun The Carpenters (yes I have dated the music I listen to thanks to my parents) song, "We've Only Just Begun" keeps playing in my mind.  These two verses in particular:

Before the risin' sun, we fly
So many roads to choose
We'll start out walkin' and learn to run
(And yes, we've just begun)

Sharing horizons that are new to us

Watching the signs along the way

Talkin' it over, just the two of us

Workin' together day to day

Together

make me think of the road Maria and I have chosen to follow this year. It will be a bumpy ride at times I am sure, just like any other partnership. We are "start[ing] out walkin' and learn[ing] to run" This is all new for both of us but I can't wait to see what the road ahead will bring. Stay tuned and follow us on this new adventure!
